1.Introduction

The shell of the multi cartridge filter cylinder is generally made of stainless steel, and the internal tubular filter elements such as PP melt-blown, wire-sintered, folded, titanium filter element, activated carbon filter element, etc. are used as filter elements. Different filter elements are selected according to different filter media and design processes to meet the requirements of effluent water quality. It is used for solid-liquid separation of various suspensions, high environmental requirements, and high filtration accuracy of liquid medicine filtration. It has a wide range of applications, such as medicine, food, chemical industry, environmental protection, and water treatment.

As a necessary component of the water purification device, the multi-cartridge filter is placed in front of the filter components such as the RO membrane, UF membrane, and NF membrane to ensure the water quality filtration accuracy and protect the membrane filter element from being damaged by large particles in the water. For water treatment projects with large processing volumes, the multi-cartridge filter needs to be installed in the specified position of the system according to the design drawings, and the filter element must be maintained regularly. To reduce the size of the equipment, the multi-cartridge filter is simplified and integrated into the container during the design of the containerized water treatment plant, such as the DW Containerized Water Purification Machine and Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment System, without the need for separate equipment.

2.Performance

(1) High filtration accuracy and uniform filter element pore size;

(2) Small filtration resistance, large flux, strong dirt interception ability, and long service life;

(3) High cleanliness of filter element material and no pollution to the filter medium;

(4) Resistant to acid, alkali and other chemical solvents;

(5) High strength, high temperature resistance, and the filter element is not easy to deform;

(6) Low price, low operating cost, easy to clean, and replaceable filter element.

Characteristics and applications of various filter elements Polytetrafluoroethylene membrane (PTFE) filter element, polycarbonate membrane (HE) filter element, polypropylene membrane (PP) filter element, cellulose acetate membrane (CN-CA) filter element, filtration accuracy from 0.1-60um, length of 10, 20, 30 and 40 inches (i.e. 250, 500, 750, 1000mm) four types, the above filter element, pressure resistance is 0.42MPa, can be back washed. Interface mode has two types: plug-in type (222, 226 seat) and flat mouth type.

4.Features

(1) Highly efficient removal of water, oil mist and solid particles, 100% removal of particles 0.01μm and above, oil mist concentration controlled at 0.01ppm/wt;

(2) Reasonable structure, small size and light weight;

(3) Plastic shell with protective cover and aluminum alloy shell are available;

(4) Three-stage purification treatment, long service life.

5.Repair and maintenance

(1) The core component of the multi cartridge filter is the filter element, which is a fragile component and requires special protection.

(2) When the multi cartridge filter works for a long time, it will intercept a certain amount of impurities, which will reduce the working speed, so it should be cleaned frequently and the filter element should be cleaned at the same time.

(3) During the cleaning process, special attention should be paid to the cleaning of the filter element to avoid deformation or damage, otherwise the filtration accuracy will be reduced and the production requirements will not be met.

(4) If the filter element is found to be deformed or damaged, it must be replaced immediately.

(5) Some precision filter elements cannot be reused many times, such as bag filter elements, polypropylene filter elements, etc.
